Most folks in Nova Scotia don’t realize that the Halifax Grain Elevator (HGEL) is operational, and a vital economic driver in the supply chain globally. We get exclusive access inside the HGEL, seeing architecture, machinery, and dystopian spaces never before seen publicly. With a small crew of 12 employees, not many people have been INSIDE THE HALIFAX GRAIN ELEVATOR.

PART 2 - 20mins
FUTURE OF THE HALIFAX GRAIN ELEVATOR

The struggle of the Halifax Grain Elevator to remain operational amid port‑imposed restrictions exposes a hidden fault line in Canada’s agricultural supply chain—one that could leave farmers, woodlot owners, and regional economies
without a vital path to global markets.

RELEASE STRUCTURE:
PART 1 - BELL FIBE TV1: OCTOBER 1, 2026
PART 1 & 2 - YOUTUBE: JANUARY 1, 2027

MARKETING:
Marketing and promotion for the series will begin October 1, purely with the intention to educate the local public about the HGEL’s existence, and bring attention to the HGEL generally. We will be creating 10-12 short videos of vast spaces within the HGEL, using tags like “BET YOU HAVEN’T SEEN IN HERE” with a call to action to watch PART 1 on BELL FIBE TV1.
As we move towards the youtube release, we will continue promoting the BELL FIBE TV1 episode, and will begin promotion of PART 2 on YOUTUBE, with a slight change in messaging, “BET YOU HAVEN’T HEARD WHAT’S HAPPENING HERE”.
The driving misson of the project will be building an audience and community around the HGEL through distribution of PART 1 on BELL FIBE TV1, and building towards a grassroots movement with PART 2.
